Linux Talk and Install

Basic information about Linux; how it works and how best to use.

Spaces are limited to around 10 people

Optionally try or install Kubuntu/Zorin Linux flavours on your own laptop. I will provide USB drives for the purpose.

Recommended laptop requirements:

• CPU: 64bit Intel/AMD architecture
• Ram: minimum 3-4Gb
• Display: ideally 1080p display (less may work in some cases)
• Installation: minimum 32Gb disk HDD/SSD (to try, Linux will run off the USB drive provided)
  Be sure to backup your data before bringing your computer for installation
